How a Summer Learning and Sports Program Adapted to the Pandemic

Over 200 youngsters in East Harlem and the South Bronx logged on for their first day of DREAM’s REAL Kids summer academic and baseball program in July 2020. Leaders at the program, which serves elementary school-age students, decided early on to transition the program online. To do that, they relied on their core principle: the value of being on a team.
